29 May 2011Qatar Development Bank, the leading bank in supporting Small and Medium-Enterprises SMEs, organized last Thursday, at "The Diplomat Club ", a condensed workshop includes attended by QDB Senior officials and leaders from 10 banks in Qatar, who recently joined “Al-Dameen” programme.
The workshop targeted to review experiences and discuss the successful visions, as well as exchange more views , proposals and ideas , inorder to further activate the strong mechanism of “Al-Dameen” between banks & investors besides beneficent from the programme.
Therefore, QDB expects this first session of its workshop series on"Aldameen", to a qualitative - add to the successful efforts harvested during the past period since the launch of the programme.
QDB is fully confident that its strong ability to organize such forums, will meet all the requirements of the bank’s partners and boththe private sector. In addition, QDB plans special programms to servethe private sector and cover different areas of interest.
During this workshop, QDB is keen to display many practical models that reflect the need to overcome obstacles& hindrances, in order to reach an elegant success and excellence, and provide explanations on the Aldameen, as well as explaining all features regarding other services offered.
This workshop is considered the first of its kind to be organized by QDB, after signing contracts with ten banks participating in Aldameen.
Such forums were as part of QDB’s plans for the current year, which claims to hold series of seminars and workshops designed to instill all concepts and standards for Al-Dameen, and thus helps banks operating the programme to better understanding SMEs ,so that they can cope or help them to gain more access to funding.
This workshop comes within the context of management development and organizational performance in the bank, which would contribute to explain the main criteria of "Aldameen".
It is noteworthy that organizing such an important event, with presence of a selected group of decision makers and experts in the banking sector, will no doubt ,contribute in highlighting the positive image & communicate the Bank and their partners to work together for a new phase in the future .
