The Talent Community Program is an initiative designed by QDB and the strategic partners, including QSTP, QRDI, and MCIT, to empower startups by offering temporary residence to eligible startups to work from Qatar.

The program aims to:- Support startups by facilitating the attraction of professional talents to work for them from Qatar.
- Enhance collaboration between startups and partners of QDB, including QSTP, QRDI, MCIT, Rasmal Ventures, and Alchemist Accelerator.
- Contribute to creating an environment that encourages innovation and knowledge exchange to help startups grow and expand in the Qatari market.
- Provide opportunities for startups to access the resources and expertise necessary for their success.
Eligibility Criteria
Startups within the QDB investment and incubation portfolio and portfolios of its partners (QSTP, QRDI, MCIT, Rasmal Ventures, and Alchemist Accelerator) can apply for the program.

What benefits does the program offer?
Startups within the QDB investment and incubation portfolio and partners (QSTP, QRDI, MCIT, Rasmal Ventures, and Alchemist Accelerator) can apply for the program. Each eligible company is entitled to 1 free-of-charge, fully furnished residency unit. An extension can be requested 1 month before the current support period expires. The total support period, including extensions, cannot exceed 6 months. Companies can reapply after the 6-month period.

How can startups apply for the program?
Startups can apply by filling in the Application Form available on the landing page. Ensure all required information and documentation are provided to facilitate the application process. The application process could take up to 30 days. The criteria for assessing applicants include technology focus, alignment with Qatar’s economic goals, market potential, team composition, and collaboration potential.

Are there any costs associated with the residency units?
No, the residency units are provided free of charge. Logistics and relocation costs will be covered by the entrepreneur and the startups themselves. Residents may be required to complete an end-of-program questionnaire about the support provided.
