In addition to his role as the CEO of QDB, Mr. Al-Khalifa is the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Elan, a Member of the Board of Directors at Qatar Science Technology Park and the Chairman of Qatar Business Incubator Center and the Bedaya Center for Entrepreneurship and Career Development. With an accumulated experience of over 15 years, Mr. Al-Khalifa has a large and diversified exposure in the SME, private and entrepreneurship sectors. He played the leading role in the launch of several flagship development initiatives, including Al Dhameen Partial Guarantee Program, Tasdeer Qatar Export Development Agency and the Housing Loan Program for Qatari citizens, Moushtarayat Exhibition & Congress and Al Fikra National Competition. Mr. Al-Khalifa holds an MBA from Qatar University, a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering from University of California, and has received several specialized diplomas from Harvard and INSEAD Universities.

Khalid Al-Mana is the Executive Director of Business Finance of Qatar Development
Bank (QDB) - the leading development and financing body driving the growth of Qatar’s
private sector and its contribution to GDP.
Mr. Al-Mana previously held leadership positions at Royal Dutch Shell and Qatar
Foundation. He held international posts in Washington DC and The Hague.
Mr. Al-Mana holds a BSc in Finance from Kind Fahad University of Petroleum and
Minerals, and an MBA from HEC Paris. He also received specialized diplomas from
London Business School and the Brookings Institute.
He is currently the Chairman of Middle East Leadership Academy (MELA), Chairman of
Al Shams Advanced Lighting Technologies and Board Member of ELAN.
Executive Director of Credit and Risk Management
Mr. Jumsheed Hussain holds the position of Executive Director of Credit and Risk Management since 2012, having joined QDB as Risk Manager in 2011. Prior to joining QDB, Mr. Hussain worked with Ernst & Young in its Financial Services and Risk Management practice in the Middle East, and prior to that he worked for Dun and Bradstreet as Enterprise Risk Management project manager for South Asia, the Middle East and Africa. Mr. Hussain has extensive domain banking and consulting expertise in the field of Credit Management and Enterprise risk management. His areas of specialization include credit analysis and processing, credit risk identification and measurement, ALM and market risk management, Operational risk and BCP, Basel-II Implementation including ICAAP. Mr. Hussain is a Financial Risk Manager certified by the Global Association of Risk Professionals, and has the Certification in Control Self-Assessment from the Institute of Internal Auditors in addition to being a Certified Information Systems Auditor from the Information Systems Audit and Control Association in the USA.

Mr. Abdulrahman Hesham Al-Suwaidi holds the position of Executive Director of Strategy and Business Development at Qatar Development Bank. His role is to develop ideas and initiatives to align with Qatar Development Bank strategy and enhance Qatar's private sector growth and its contribution to GDP, based on Qatar’s National Vision 2030.Having started his professional career as an engineer within the telecom sector before joining Qatar Development Bank, Mr. Al-Suwaidi is also a Board Member of ELAN Holding Company, and Qatar Business Incubation Center. Mr. Al-Suwaidi holds Telecommunication and Internet Engineering degree and a Master in Project Planning and Management from the University of Bradford, UK, in addition to an Executive Master degree in Energy and Resources from Hamad Bin Khalifa University.

Mr. Ibrahim Mohammed Hassan has held the position of Executive Director of Investments at QDB since March 2017, where he manages a venture capital fund of over USD 100 million with a mandate to support Qatari Entrepreneurs and accelerate them to a global scale. Mr. Hassan plays an instrumental role in building the local investment ecosystem in Qatar and arming the next generation of entrepreneurs with knowledge, vision and necessary funds to become true global players. This includes networking and providing funds for SME’s. Prior to this current role, Mr. Hassan served at QIB as senior Financial Analyst. Along with holding other banking roles, Mr. Hassan has accumulated over 10 years of experience in both conventional and Islamic banking. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar and is a Member of CFA Institute.

Mr. Essa Ali Al-Kuwari was appointed as Executive Director of Operations and Support at QDB in 2015. He previously held leadership positions at UDC as COO, at QDB as Housing Loans Manager, as well as at QNB as Real Estate Manager and at MMUP as Urban Development Head.
Mr. Al-Kuwari graduated in Civil Engineering from the University of Qatar in 1994 and has a wealth of multi-disciplined experience in urban development, real estate, banking and utility services.
Executive Director of Finance
Mr. Kamel Fayed serves as Executive Director of Finance at QDB.
Mr. Fayed has over 20 years’ of Banking experience, driving strategic growth and development, operations enhancement, Mergers and Acquisitions, Private Equity, Asset Management and Capital Markets.
In addition to his role as CFO of QDB, Mr. Fayed is a Board Member and Audit Committee Member of ELAN Holding Company.
Prior to that, Mr. Fayed was CFO at Kuwait International Bank where he has successfully managed to transfer the bank from conventional real estate bank to fully Islamic bank that operates according to Islamic sharia principles.
Mr. Fayed was appointed as a technical member in many working groups including the corporate governance standard working group established by Central bank of Kuwait, and Islamic Money Market working group of the Islamic Financial Service Board in Kuwait. He is also a regular speaker in international Islamic conferences and seminars, and has published many publications in the field of Islamic banking.
Mr. Fayed holds a CPA from AICPA examination board, USA. B. Com in Finance and a diploma in Computer Science from American University of Cairo Egypt.

Mr. Hamad Salem Mejegheer holds the position of Executive Director of Export Development & Promotion at Qatar Development Bank.
In his current position, Mr. Mejegheer provides the necessary leadership to all QDB’s export development and promotion programs, aiming to empower Qatari SMEs to develop their exportation potentials and reach international markets in line with the National Vision 2030. Mr. Mejegheer oversees the planning and implementation of The Export Development and Promotion Agency (Tasdeer) programs, aiming to grow the agency through attracting new clients and offering full services to Qatari exporters.
Prior to joining QDB, Mr. Mejegheer held several positions in different governmental entities, including the Ministry of Culture and Sports as member of the strategic committee initiating the ministry, before holding several positions in the said ministry including Director of Youth Affairs, and Head of Communication and Events.
During his tenure at QDB, Mr. Mejegheer led some of the major initiatives of the bank, including the launch of ROWAD Qatar Award under the patronage of H.H Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani Amir of Qatar, the initiation of QDB’s participation in Darb AL Saai activities, in addition to his outstanding contribution in the development of QDB’s marketing department.
Mr. Hamad Salem Mejegheer is a Qatar Leadership Centre graduate, he holds a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from Leeds University, a Master degree in Strategic Management from HEC Paris, and a Master degree in Applied Research from SBS Swiss Business School where he is currently a DBA candidate.

Acting Execute director of Intelligence & Localization
Mr. Mohammed Mubarak Al-Mansouri holds the position of Acting Executive Director of Intelligence & Localization at Qatar Development Bank. He joined QDB in 2011.
From his position as head of Intelligence & Localization department at QDB, Mr. Al-Mansouri insures the connection of local SMEs to local buyers, and leads all QDB efforts to empower these entities through guaranteeing them consentient shares in local procurements, and providing the necessary support to facilitate cooperation between SMEs and potential buyers.
Mr. Al-Mansouri started his QDB career as a Credit Analyst, and then as a Relationship Manager in the export development and promotion department, where he was in charge of knowledge acquisition from the German company “Euler Hermes.” Mr. Al-Mansouri got promoted to Senior Relationship Manager, and then to Head of Localization Department, before being appointed as Executive Director of Intelligence & Localization.
During his tenure at Qatar Development Bank, Mr. Al-Mansouri was in charge of leading key projects, including the organization of the Aman Union Insurance of Export Credit’s 4th annual meeting, The Forum to Support Local Products, The Local Added Value Project, The SMEs Integration Into Governmental Procurements project (in collaboration with the World Bank), in addition to the organization of The Government Procurement and Contracting Conference & Exhibition (Moushtarayat).
Mr. Mohammed Mubarak Al-Mansouri holds a Master of Science in Islamic Finance from Hamad Bin Khalifa University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Qatar University.
