In addition to his role as CEO of QDB, Mr Al-Khalifa is a Member of the Supreme Council for Economic Affairs & Investment, a Member of the Board of Directors at Silatech and a Member of the Board of Directors at Qatar Science Technology Park. He is also Chairman of Qatar Business Incubator Center and the Bedaya Center for Entrepreneurship and Career Development. Before being appointed CEO of QDB, Mr Al-Khalifa was Executive Director of Strategy & Business Development for three years, serving simultaneously as Vice-President of several internal and external committees. Prior to joining QDB, Mr Al-Khalifa worked at Qatar Shell as a Business Development Manager for nearly three years and, before that, held technical and managerial positions at The Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation (KAHRAMAA) for six years. Mr Al-Khalifa has a vast experience in the SME, private and entrepreneurship sectors. He played a leading role in the launch of several flagship development initiatives, including the Al Dhameen Partial Guarantee Program, Tasdeer Qatar Export Development Agency and the Housing Loan Program for Qatari citizens. Mr Al-Khalifa holds an MBA from Qatar University, a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA) and has received several specialized diplomas from Harvard and Insead.

Mr. Al-Mana previously held leadership positions at Royal Dutch Shell and Qatar Foundation. He held international positions in Washington DC and the Hague. Mr. Al-Mana holds a BSc in Finance from King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals, and has received specialized diplomas from London Business School and the Brookings Institute. He is currently a Board Member elect at the Middle East Leadership Association (MELA) and Chairman of Alshams Advanced Lighting Technologies.
Executive Director – TASDEER
Mr Hassan Khalifa Busherbak Al Mansouri began his career with QDB at its inception in 1997. He was appointed Executive Director of Qatar Export Development Agency "Tasdeer” in 2011. Mr Al Mansouri has more than seventeen years of experience in the areas of trade finance, banking operations and treasury, in addition to his current duties in the development and promotion of exports, as Tasdeer contributes to Qatar Vision 2030 by diversifying sources of national income through private sector exports. Mr Al Mansouri holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a specialization from the University of Qatar.
Executive Director of Credit and Risk Management
Mr. Hussain has held this role since 2012, having joined QDB as Risk Manager in 2011. Before joining QDB, he worked with Ernst & Young in its Financial Services and Risk Management practice in the Middle East, and prior to that he worked for Dun and Bradstreet as Enterprise Risk Management project manager for South Asia, the Middle East and Africa. He has deep domain banking and consulting expertise in the field of Credit Management and Enterprise risk management. His areas of specialization include credit analysis and processing, credit risk identification and measurement, ALM and market risk management, Operational risk and BCP, Basel-II Implementation including ICAAP. Mr. Hussain is a Financial Risk Manager certified by the Global Association of Risk Professionals, and has the Certification in Control Self-Assessment from the Institute of Internal Auditors and he is a Certified Information Systems Auditor from the Information Systems Audit and Control Association in the USA.

Mr. Hamad Khamis Al Kubaisi joined Qatar Development Bank at the beginning of 2014, where he holds the position of Executive Director of Advisory, in addition to assuming the title of Chairman of QG Medical Devices. Mr Hamad Khamis Al Kubaisi has more than 15 years of practical experience working in influential positions at major national companies in several sectors, including business and project management, telecommunications, information technology and other sectors. Mr Hamad Al-Kubaisi also serves as Member of the Board of Directors of Qatar Business Incubation Centre (QBIC), the largest business incubator in the Middle East and North Africa, which embraces development and innovation for entrepreneurs, a Member of the Board of Directors of BEDAYA Center for Entrepreneurship and Career Guidance, which helps young people plan for their projects and trains them to improve their basic managing skills and a Member of the Board of Directors of ELAN Qatar. Mr Hamad Al Kubaisi initiated the establishment of a number of important national and international initiatives to support the youth and nurture their entrepreneurial spirit, including the UK Foreign Commonwealth Office’s Future International Leaders Programme. Mr Al Kubaisi holds an Executive MBA in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from HEC Paris and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Qatar University.

Mr Fadi Abu Hijleh joined Qatar Development Bank after the merger of Enterprise Qatar with Qatar Development Bank in early 2015, where he served since 2013 as Executive Director of Finance at Enterprise Qatar. Mr Abu Hijleh is a seasoned financial executive with a well-established track record of over 17 years in corporate finance and strategic and financial management. He combines corporate governance and strategy implementation expertise, along with solid corporate finance planning, structuring and execution. Prior to joining QDB, he held leadership positions with leading organizations, both regionally and internationally, and was the Financial Controller at Qatar General Holding, the investment arm of Qatar General Insurance & Reinsurance Group. He also worked as Vice-President of Investment Banking at Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, Assistant Vice-President of Corporate Finance at United Gulf Bank and in several senior positions at Qatar Gas, the largest supplier of liquefied natural gas in the world. He started his career as an auditor and financial consultant with the professional services firm, RSM McGladrey, in the United States. Additionally, Mr Abu Hijleh is an established entrepreneur, having founded Vanguard Capital, a professional financial advisory firm serving SMEs and family groups. Mr Abu Hijleh holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Missouri in Kansas City (UMKC). He is a Chartered Financial Analyst of the CFA Institute and a Certified Public Accountant of the American Institute of CPAs. He also serves as an advisor to the Chairman of ELAN Group of companies and is a Board Member of Qatar German Medical Devices Company.

Executive Director of Operations and Support
Mr Al-Kuwari was appointed as Executive Director of Operations and Support at QDB in 2015. Mr Al-Kuwari previously held leadership positions at UDC as COO, QDB as Housing Loans Manager, QNB as Real Estate Manager and MMUP as Urban Development Head.
Mr Al-Kuwari graduated in Civil Engineering from University of Qatar, in 1994 and he has a wealth of multi-disciplined experience in urban development, real estate, banking and utility services.

Kamel has Over than 20 years’ a decade of Banking experience driving strategic growth strategic development, operation enhancement, Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity, Asset Management and Capital Markets. With a success stories he managed to enhance the financial performance for all banks he joined through proper set up the banks strategies as well as following up implementation to ensure the strategic targets are met using the financial analysis tools that help to follow up the achieved results on a daily basis to redirect the performances toward goals and objectives.
In addition to his role as CFO of QDB, he is a board member of Ellan holding company, Audit committee member of Ellan holding company.
Kamel has been previously selected as financial advisory for International Finance Corporation (IFC)– The World Bank Group for restructure financial and accounting module for one of the leading Islamic bank in region Saba.
Kamel also joined Kuwait international bank as CFO and success as a team leader to totally transfer the bank from conventional real estate bank to fully Islamic bank operate according to Islamic sharia principles. he has been primarily responsible for developing 5 years bank strategy that lead the bank to achieve his financial targets. In particular, he has extensive experience in managing fund, fund raising, investment structuring and analysis to support the bank in higher risk.
Kamel was also previously with Kuwait Finance House one of the leading Islamic bank in Middle east as deputy CFO, where he successes to be a team leader to transfer the bank to be under Central bank of Kuwait umbrella after operating more than 25 years as standalone bank has no supervisory authority.
Kamel has appointed as a technical member in many working group. Such as, the corporate governance standard working group established by Central bank of Kuwait, and Islamic Money Market working group of the Islamic Financial Service Board in Kuwait. As well a regular speaker in international Islamic conferences and seminars, and published in the field of Islamic banking.
Kamel holds a CPA from AICPA examination board, USA. B. Com in Finance and a diploma in Computer Science from American University of Cairo Egypt.
