In light of Qatar’s efforts to serve farmers and livestock breeders, QDB has been keen on developing financing programs aimed at supporting the food security system through providing funding for livestock sector projects that contribute to self-sufficiency.

Note
Other projects in the sectors (agriculture, fisheries and livestock) that are not mentioned are subject to the following conditions
- Financing up to 60% of the total value of the project
- Financing up to 80% of the value of equipment and machinery (excluding buildings)
- The maximum tenor period is 15 years, with a grace period of 3 years maximum
- Maximum profit rate of 5% - The bank also finances 100% of salaries and rents for the first 6 months

Financing female cattle of all kinds that are approved by the Animal Wealth Department at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment.

Financing female cattle of all kinds that are approved by the Animal Wealth Department at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment. Farms:- Financing up to 750,000 QAR per farm- The maximum tenor period is 8 years with a grace period of maximum one year- Profit rate starting from 1% + insurance fees Izbaa:- Financing up to 250,000 QAR per Izbaa - The maximum repayment period is 5 years with a maximum grace period of one year, with a profit rate starting from 1% + insurance fees
